  • The "Low-dimensional Quantum Device Lab" at Central South University was established in March 2017, with a mission to push the boundaries of advanced quantum information device technology. The laboratory's research focuses on the electronic degrees of freedom of materials, such as electron spins, valleys, and charges, and employs advanced micro-nano processing and material modification methods to design and fabricate new prototype quantum information devices.

  • 1, Twistronics and Applications of van der Waals Heterostructures in Two-Dimensional Materials: This work seeks to uncover the properties of electron spin and charge in two-dimensional materials and utilize them for information storage and processing.

  • 2, Spintronics Based on 2D Materials and Related van der Waals Structures: This research involves the study of the interaction between electron spin and charge in two-dimensional materials and van der Waals structures.

  • 3, Design, Preparation, and Application of Advanced Functional Materials: This work aims to explore the utilization of advanced functional materials for information device applications.

  • 4, Application of Valleytronics and Valley Devices Based on Two-Dimensional Materials: This research delves into the properties of electrons in materials associated with their energy valleys and their potential for information processing and storage.
